2. MOTTO

God’s inspired and bonded women in Christ.

3. VISION

CWL intends to empower women members of the URCSA to be actively involved in building God’s kingdom through public witness and community service.

4. MISSION

To establish a ministry that will cater for the welfare and interests of the members and of the URCSA as a whole.

To set up rules governing the activities of the CWL and its members.

To organize and run seminars, conferences and annual general meetings for the purpose of social skills and regeneration of morality and lending support to the needy.

5. OBJECTIVES

• To assist with spiritual and social upliftment regarding natural disasters e.g. floods, fires and etc.
• To raise awareness of HIV/AIDS by giving education on sexually transmitted diseases, their cause and preventative measures as well as other diseases such as cholera, malaria, etc.
• To address social problems such as women and child abuse and inform the community about available resources.
• To assist the church and the community in problem areas by forming support groups within the church.
• To raise funds in order to assist in projects within the church and the community such as:
  • Theological training
  • Church buildings
  • Development of Christian literature on relevant topics.
• To reach out to special institutions such as:

1. 1. 1. Correctional services, focusing on women and juvenile inmates
      2. Orphanage homes
      3. Hospices for terminal diseases
      4. HIV/AIDS orphanages
      5. Safety homes for abused women, children and others

6. APPLICATION

This constitution shall only apply to and bind CWL members.
