URCSA Akasia is a Congregation within the umbrella of the Uniting Reformed Church. Our Aim is to be The Congregation Of Choice for people of all makes to come and worship. URCSA Akasia Congregation (The Congregation Of Choice) is one of the seven congregations within the Ga-Rankuwa Presbytery. URCSA Akasia is a great choice when looking for a place to worship, the atmosphere is relaxed and the messages are relevant to our daily lives. Our services are in Sotho(with english translastions) and English, We Praise and Worship from the Hosanna Hymn Book, we have an over-head projector which displays our hymns and scriptures so that we can all sing the same song as one big happy family. We are located at 82 Main Street, Heatherdale. Akasia. We have enough parking and security at the gate during church service. Our services start at 09H00AM Every Sunday. We have child minder rooms equipped with screens to see the main hall, so you do not miss a thing while our colouring books and crayons keeps your Bundle Of Joy busy. We have dynamic Sunday School classes and Catechism with experienced teachers(More information on the ministries page). The Congregation is led by two Reverends; Dr. Rev. EM Monhla and Dr. Rev. AE Tshibalo, we have Six Wards(Which meet every tuesday for bible studies), Four Ministries and 3 Student Ministers. All of which form the Church Council according to the Intergrated Ministry Model.
